A 5 minute drive will take you to the market town of South Molton, offering a twice weekly market in the historic pannier market. You can easily spend an afternoon wandering around antique shops and small boutiques and still have time to fit in a Devon cream tea. South Molton also offers numerous pubs and restaurants, supermarket and swimming pool. The property is a fantastic base to walk and explore Devon and Cornwall. Take a day trip to Exmoor and discover stunning moorlands, valleys and the quaint villages of Lynton, Lynmouth, Porlock and Dunster. The sandy beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! are all within an easy drive as well as the picturesque fishing villages of Appledore and Clovelly. Many attractions in the area include The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep and RHS Rosemoor Gardens to name a few. Leisure facilities available in the area include golf, fishing, horse riding, cycling, clay pigeon shooting and of course plenty of walking.
The accommodation offers FOUR bedrooms: on the first floor, 1 double with bed settee on request (suitable for children only) and en-suite bathroom. Quiet reading area accessed by a separate staircase and a further staircase leads to 1 double with a single bed and 1 twin. On the ground floor, 1 spacious double with en-suite shower and WC. Bathroom: with shower attachment and WC. Lounge/kitchen/diner: spacious open-plan living area, with woodburner (first basket of logs included) TV with Freeview, DVD and Wi-fi available. Kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Washing machine in understairs cupboard. Outside: enclosed gardens to the rear with decked areas and garden furniture; ideal for enjoying a BBQ. Enjoy the owner's acre orchard (some areas are sloping and children to be supervised). Amenities: ample parking. Bed linen, towels, electric and heating included (an extra £20 heating supplement is requested from October until May payable to owner). Regret no dogs. Regret no smoking. South Molton is a small market town on the River Mole in north Devon, England. It is located not far from North Molton, Mariansleigh, Kings Nympton, Bishops Nympton, Brayford, and Chulmleigh and is one of over three hundred towns and villages in Devon in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available.
